Patrick Dupré Quigley

Artistic Director

Patrick Dupré Quigley is the founding Artistic Director of Seraphic Fire, Miami’s only fully-professional chamber choir and orchestra. He is the recipient of the 2004 Robert Shaw Conducting Fellowship, given annually by Chorus America, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Warner Brothers to a conductor between the ages of 25 and 40 who shows the potential for a significant professional career.

Mr. Quigley has conducted choirs and orchestras across the United States, Europe, China, and Israel including the National Opera of China, the Xi’an Symphony Orchestra, the Yale Camerata and Pro Musica, and the University of Notre Dame Men’s Glee Club. Recent performances have included Evensong at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with the Brandenburg Soloists, and Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 ""Jupiter"" with the Seraphic Fire Chamber Orchestra.

Mr. Quigley earned the Master of Music in Choral Conducting jointly from the Yale School of Music and the Institute of Sacred Music where he studied under the direction of Prof. Marguerite Brooks on a full scholarship; in addition, he received the BA in Musicology from the University of Notre Dame where he studied under Alexander Blachly, director of the Grammy nominated early music ensemble Pomerium. Mr. Quigley is the Director of Music at the Church of the Epiphany in Miami, Florida.
